"Loss of Constraint Code on Component Insertion"

I'm new to jBPM (just downloaded 5.1.0.final a few days ago) and have run into
a small frustration.  Whenever I try to insert a Component (e.g. a Script Task)
after a Diverging Gateway, the Java code that defines the associated Diverging
Gateway Constraint disappears.   I've tried a number of different combinations,
e.g. inserting the Component and then moving the Sequence Flow arrow, deleting
the arrow and then inserting the new Component, but nothing seems to work.
There doesn't seem to be any way of inserting a new Component without losing
the Java code associated with the Constraint in question.  Any ideas anybody?
Thanks in advance.
