Together with the http://docs.jboss.org/jbpm/v5.3/userguide/ch.core-persistence.html#d0e3800 documentation section 8.3 , it said : Storing history information in the runtime database can result in the database rapidly increasing in size, not to mention the fact that monitoring and analysis queries might influence the performance of your runtime engine. This is why process execution history information and runtime state should be stored separately.
