As of today I have only successfully used Drools rules for conditions in
relations to gateways, and that is rather easy to do directly in Designer
choosing condition language as drools and writing an expression.
But I also need to add more complex rules to my process that I can't implement
as gateways in this way - so I would like to use a business rule task - the
documentation on how to actually do that seems a little bit sprase to me - and
in the best of worlds I would like to "link" this Task to a Drools rule as
graphically as possible by for example setting a property on the Task in
Designer - this might be possible, but if it is I haven't found that
information.
And if I need to write some code I have also had problem finding a good
description on how to do this, and do it correctly - and hopefully be able to
do it in a generic way and not for every single rule that needs to be in the
process.
(I'm not talking så much about creating the actual Drools rule since I do
belive that I understand that part and there even are tools for this, if one
likes wizards).
