Hello,
My problem is as follows: I would like for a session ejb to retrieve
information from xml files (other that the ejb DDs of course...). I prefer the
XML-file solution to the relational-database solution as it is more
lightweight. (We haven't got the resources nor the skill to administrate a
native xml database.) Am I allowed to read from the filesystem? What is the
best architectural solution you would advise bearing in mind I need the
information contained in the xml files to be available in java (in the session
bean). Ideally I would drop xml files in a directory and they would
automatically be parsed and taken into account by an ejb.
I am available to provide more details if needed.
Any clue welcome,
Julien Martin.
