One possibility: use Remote Desktop to connect to the other system, open a command window, and run JBoss from there.
You will have to keep the Remote Desktop session open though, so do not log out of Remote Desktop. Instead, simple close the Remote Desktop window. Later, when you connect to the server again using Remote Desktop, you will be connected back to the same session. Actually, anybody connecting to the remote system using the same login id will get connected to that session.
