I am using JBoss AS 4.0.5 Under normal conditions my JBoss server makes the jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/ROOT.war directory available for static content. However as soon as I deploy an ear with a virtual host configuration I am unable to access this directory.
I've tried changing the name attribute of the host element inside the jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/server.xml file to reflect the hostname (as opposed to localhost) with no success. <Server> | | | <SNIP> | | <Engine name="jboss.web" defaultHost="www.mydomain.com"> | | | <Host name="www.mydomain.com" | | autoDeploy="false" deployOnStartup="false" deployXML="false" | | configClass="org.jboss.web.tomcat.security.config.JBossContextConfig" | | > | | | | </Host> | | | | </Engine> | | | | </Service> | | | | </Server> | | I think this behavior has changed from previous versions of JBoss? Could anyone direct me to directions for preventing virtual hosting from breaking the default ROOT.war behavior?
