Sorry for digging up this old thread, but I have the same problem and can't 
seem to solve it.

I have annotated the exception base class thrown by my WebMethods with 
@XmlSeeAlso to refer to the subtype exceptions, but it doesn't seem to have any 
effect and still in the client a SOAPFaultException is thrown instead of the 
user exception.

I am running JBoss AS 4.0.5 with JBossWS 2.0.1.GA.

What am I missing?
