What we did is enter the following statement to the .bashrc file from the user that will be starting JBoss. This file should be located below the home folder of the user that will run JBoss. If it does not exist, just create it. This should be enough. In this file you should place: export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 Hope this solves your problem.
