As far as I understand it, and currently have working with my 3.0 version, the directory(s) you are pointing to
need to have the archive extension (.ear, .jar, or .war) appended. So, say I had the directory /myapp that was an exploded
war structure, which worked just fine for the 2.4 releases - you'd have to rename it to /myapp.war for 3.0 to deploy
it.
Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
