There are features that use nio, jdbc3 that are available in the 1.4.1 compiled release, but that is not the point of it. The point is to see if there are backward compatibility problems that do not show up in our unit tests. There are only two dists, one built with JDK 1.3.1 and another built with JDK 1.4.1
