Thanks for the info. One other quick question about the uniqueness of the IDs. I am planning to use the ID that the generator returns as a process flow ID. The ID would be established at the entry point of the system and then used throughout the flow. I presume that I would want to favour using the UUID over the HiLo generator if I always need a unique ID. Is the UUID always unique in all cases including across multiple clustered JBoss instances?
