We experienced an odd problem last night in one of our production servers running JBoss3.2.1 (with Jetty). The entire things simply stopped responding for ~3 minutes! It didn't complete any of it's web requests nor write anything to the log for the entire period - something i've never seen before. The only thing that we can think of is that the VM was doing GC for that period.
