I tried specifying following config-property <config-property name="CheckValidConnectionSQL" type="java.lang.String">SELECT 1 FROM DUAL</config-property> Error I got was : java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The class 'class org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.local.LocalManagedConnectionFactory' has no setter for config property 'CheckValidConnectionSQL', ObjectName:jboss.jca:service=NoTxCM,name=MYDS Could you please also tell me which jar file has "org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.vendor.OracleExceptionSorter" class ?
