Yes I see project.xml says
<!--
- must use at least servlet 2.3 now;
- some tag classes implements TryCatchFinally ...
-->
I was asking because the parser for Tomcat 3.2.x doesn't work starting with dbf 1.1,
so I wondered which tomcat version was ok.
But you are telling me that dbf 1.1.2pr1 needs servlet 2.3 and so Tomcat4.x.
Are we sure about this? Why does a tryCatchFinally block need 2.3? I looked though
the api
and and changes between 2.2 and 2.3 and couldn't find any mention of that.
I might be mistaken, but I thought tryCatchFinally was basic java syntax.
ANYWAY, THE DOCS NOW SAY (FOR TOMCAT)
version 3.2 or later for dbforms 1.07
and version 4.0.x or later for dbforms v1.1 and on
[BUT IS THAT BECAUSE OF THE PARSER OR SERVLET API -- WHO KNOWS?? COULD IT MAKE A
DIFFERENCE WITH OTHER CONTAINERS???]
WHAT ABOUT 3.3.X -- SERVLET 2.2 AND PARSER(unknown) ???? -- I'll ask the tomcat list
about these things.
