Anyway, for win32 users:

SGML for NT: A brief tutorial how to set up a free SGML/XML editing and publishing system for Windows

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/hoenicka_markus/ntsgml.html

Not so easy to get in, but I was able to set up a complete sgml docbook environment to edit / validate / render my docs into html, pdf and rtf formats.

Luca

Hi Henner,

time ago I used a complex Emacs config file with DSSL docbook (the old skool). But i think this environment is too complex and not really portable.

OpenOffice.org 1.1 Beta should have import / export functions for Docbook. I tried the Win32 version, but I didn't see them ;^)
