I have been using DBForms 2.3 in my OpenSource project with Tomcat 5 on Fedora Linux for several months. Currently using Tomcat 5.0.25. The only issue I've had is that DBForms completely destroys Tomcat's deploy mechanisme, and that it also prevent other web apps with Log4j to unpack successfully. However, this was easily solved by placing a copy of
log4j-1.2.8.jar and commons-logging-1.0.3.jar in Tomcat's shared/lib directory.

I just installed Tomcat 5 thinking it was the wave of the future. What is your recommended setup for dbforms? I don't care, all I want is a stable, easy to install setup on Linux. I still don't have a completely working set of examples...
Too bad this came up. Another point to Java's relative fragility. Like, Tomcat 5 is Sun's official release, its been out for a long time and people like yourselves who publish libraries find that their libraries are broken. Just like the bad old C days when unix was fragmented and vendors were stupid...
