Dear Miguel,
I'm reading past-posts on jdbforms list searching troubles regarding utf-8.
Did you solve this problem? I'm using dforms 2.5 and I have the same issue..
I don't know if in the current release this problem has been solved (it 
do not appear in the changelog of 2.6).
