I installed emacs-20.4 for Windows NT and then the JDE-2.1.5 as specified in the installation documentation. I didn't compile any .el files, however. Do I need to? At any rate, I cannot get the JDE to run, even though I used the suggested .emacs file and made the appropriate path changes. Also, is it difficult to modify the settings to include the SGML settings? I'd like to use emacs as my JSP editor. Thanks, -Dan
