Hi all,
The latest version of jdb outputs breakpoint and step messages in a
different format than did previous versions of jdb. Thus, it does not work
with the JDE, which expects the old format. I believe that somebody
mentioned that the new version has a compatibility switch that will cause
it to generate the old format. However, I cannot find any documentation for
this switch. Does anyone know if such a switch exists and, if so, what it is?
I am trying to avoid having to update the JDE to work with two versions of
jdb, as I want at this point to concentrate on developing the JDE interface
to the new debugger developed by Amit Kumar specifically for the JDE.
