I'm not sure if this is JDE related or not, but I've failed to find an
answer anywhere else so:

Xemacs version 20.4 on Solaris
JDE version 2.1.5
.emacs file attached

 <<.emacs>>

I've been running this set up since March without problems. Normally, when I
view a file then after a couple of seconds the speedbar switches to display
the directory of the file I was currently viewing. If I swap buffers, it
would change to display the directory of the new buffer.

However since Monday it no longer changes directories by itself when I
switch buffers. Also when I swap buffers to another file in the same
directory, the speedbar doesn't update to highlight the new file.

I've failed to find anything that has changed. The only thing I've been able
to find is that if I change my .emacs to use the speedbar that came with
xemacs (version 0.5) then I get the directory updating again. When I
switching back to use version 0.8 that came with the JDE, I loose the
updating again.

Anybody any ideas what may be causing it or where else I could look?

Thanks
