I just downloaded the latest a minute ago (Mon Aug 7th 23:30 PDT 2000),
and with the command
gunzip jde-latest.tar.gz
or
tar xvzf jde-latest.tar.gz
it works fine. I noticed that you have a different filename with
jde-latest_tar.gz - is that a side effect of some other program?
