emacs 20.7, jde 2.2.4, speedbar 0.12, semantic 1.2.1, elib 1.0 on SunOS
5.5.1

Dear Paul...

Compiling all the JDE and associated packages' el file into elc is a
great speed increase.

However, using tags and loading a java file invokes some jde code that
prints hash marks (#) and a % of some job being done at the bottom
emacs. This part of loading a file has been decreased since using the
elc files. However during common editing of the .java file, it looks
like the same hash marks and a % of some jde code gets invoked. Is there
a way to turn off this intermittant jde parsing after the file is
loaded? The last version of JDE that didn't have this was 2.2.2.

thanks...jim
