I took a different route. I rebuilt the Darwin emacs 20 to use X Windows and run the JDE 2.2.8 in XDarwin using the OroborOSX window manager. There are still parts that don't seem to work as well as they do using Windows 2000 and Linux, but I only need it for working examples from books (Thinking in Java by Bruce Eckel was one). The state that I have it in wouldn't do for real work, but then I didn't try to make it so. Craig E. Ward __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
