Hei since I am using JDE I am using bash as shell (configured as described in JDE Installation instruction). The problem is that I can't use an interactive shell with that setup. Running M-x shell and than using an interactive command like "ls" (or any other command) always responds ":command not found". On the other hand running the same command not interactive with e.g. M-! ls works fine.
Context: I am using NTEmacs 21.2.1 on Windows2000 with cygwin bash GNU bash, version 2.05b.0(8)-release (i686-pc-cygwin) Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc. The bash setup in the .emacs file is exactly as described in JDE installation instruction. Hopefully that is enough information to track down the problem. Anybody an idea what I am missing?
