The point here is that you cannot go through the Go server to connect, but rather you connect to them directly from the client. Long (medium?) term we need to have the ability to look up addresses from affiliated servers as well as send and receive from the same server. Users don't want to connect to a whole bunch of servers manually or pull down lists. They want to send like e-mail to any server connected to the network.
