How do I find someone's JID in a distributed system. Any ideas. A similar question would be, how do I find someone's email address.
One way would be for the clients to support a field for the user to enter another server name of where the search would take place. I could search a user at xyz.com (having a JUD), while I am connected to jabber.org. Can this work right now ? What are the privacy issues involved here. Any other ideas.
