If I had time, I'd love to work on a calendaring protocol.  I may have a
contract that will require me to find/get/invent one, but I don't think
I'm very likely to win the bid.

BTW - Either way, you can certainly discuss any ideas you have about
calendaring on the standards-jig list (or here ... stpeter, where's
better?) and get feedback.  It'd probably be wise to just define an
interface for calendaring in the Jabber system, so we can use an external
calendaring product for actual management of the database - JMO, though.
