I'm not a big fan of open source, I'm not saying I'm against it though. I am however a big fan of open specifications. People/projects can be open source or not I don't care as long as they adhere to open standards, of which Macromedia's swf format is one.
Just curious, but you use open source mailing lists, open source www servers and open source instant messaging servers? you communicate with others in open source forums? you propably use open source ssh software, you use open source file servers? and you don't pay a cent for the software? do you think this statement is slightly contradictory?
