...jabberd 1.4.3 will be released the next days. It's a maintenance release including some fixes and several features. http://jabberd.jabberstudio.org/1.4/release-1.4.3.shtml
Please check out the jabberd14 HEAD code from CVS for testing and post comments here.
Just checked out the latest CVS. From the looks of it, none of the changes offered regarding compiling cleanly under Cygwin were accepted/implemented. The changes--basically conditionals added to Makefiles, a slight change to the configure script, a bit of cleanup on the setup.sh script, and some docs--would not affect anyone on other OSes, but _would_ afford those stuck in the Windows world the opportunity to compile/run jabberd, complete with SSL and s2s support (and possibly JUD/MUC support as well)...and possibly get them more interested in *nix in the process, as they'd have to run Cygwin just the same. ;-)
Just wanted to ask whether this was a conscious decision, whether my last posting--with attachment containing modified files--did not reach the list (sent 15Oct2003) for some reason, or if there was some unwritten requirement on how to submit that I failed to meet.
