Hi Frank!

1. Makefile's first line reads
include platform-settings
but SHOULD read
include ../platform-settings
Nope, jadc2s has its own "platform-settings" file. It if generated by jadc2s' configure script.
Ah. My bad. Missed that. Will try again. (Inadvertently treated jadc2s like JUD, MU-C, etc., where they relied on the jabberd platform-settings. Stupid assumption on my part. Apologies for that. Should've noticed the configure file.)
2. Attempts to compile jadc2s result in the following compiler errors on mio.c:
[...]
This might be the result of using the wrong platform-settings.
Yep, suspect so. Will let you know soon. :-)
...
By the way, is jadc2s considered solid or totally experimental? Just curious.
With the mio_poll backend it should work quite well. The mio_select backend I never used, so I don't know how good this backend is. jadc2s is used at least on myjabber.net, jabber.org and amessage. But I think we all use it on Unix, I don't know if someone ever checked it on Windows.
Well, if not, I'm about to. :-)
Thanks much for the quick response. Will let you know how compilation goes, and if time permits, will try firing it up.
