Seems like a cool feature.. but somehow I really think that I have enough trouble allready with explaining end-users when filetransfer will work and when it won't. This "short circuit" will not clear anything up here.. I would really favor some way that people, who anyways is using jabber as im-client, to discover their jabber-id when connected over legacy transports. That would solve the above problem too. Even if they were connected to different transports.
