Isn't that what resources are for?

I log on from home with [EMAIL PROTECTED]/home, and from work with
[EMAIL PROTECTED]/work. Other users should be able to easily hover
over me in their roster to see which resources are online.

That being said, putting your location in the resource has no semantics, just
like putting your location in your nickname has no semantics.

Call me crazy, but I thought JEP-0112 [1] was more than acceptable for
specifying physical location.
