It could definitely be improved. It could load a little Jabber client in
an
applet which logs into the actual Jabber server to do the authentication,
then requests a token from the server you want to log into. The token
would
come back to the applet which could feed it to the real form to log the
user
in.
At least that's as good as it would get until Jabber clients themselves
got
web integration...
