What is the 'suggested' criteria for becoming a member. For instance, I'm new to the jabber development community but actively working on some proposals to upgrade existing protocols to XMPP and to add simple multicast A/V to Jabber clients. This will hopefully result in JEPs in the medium-term. Is it worth my while applying or should I wait until the next period?
