JabberStudio is not supported and not maintained anymore.
jabberd2 is long without maintainer. Seems I'm the only one working on it now.
How would you define "official" in these circumstances? ;-)

I would be much happier if there was a short note from either Justin
or Stephen saying something along the lines of: We're happy for Tomasz
to continue jabberd2 development, please download his code and send
him congratulations and friendly bug reports.

Justin is technically the project owner. For my part, I haven't had time to work on jabberd2 for a while, and as that's unlikely to change, practically speaking I'm no longer involved in the prject.

I think it's fantastic that Tomasz has continued to develop the codebase (with an impressive list of changes and new features) and released a new version.
