How often should a client send xmpp presence to a server? I assume most XMPP servers usually have a timeout for client idle and the presence should be sent at a value that is less than this timeout to be optimal. But if you are talking to some third party xmpp server, you wouldnt know their client idle timeout setting, so how do we optimize sending presence? -
