Yo, list.

We've got a corporate mail gateway that scans all incoming messages for
attached virii, and it "popped" this morning on a note (purportedly) from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- I tried to send a note back to this
address, but it bounced, so I'm alerting the list to be on the lookout.

Offhand, the note looks like it might've even come from a bogus address,
maybe even from some would-be spammer who's disgruntled about the new list
moderation policy. :-} (Past posts from Mr. McPhee have come from a
different domain, which is what has me wondering about the origins...)

Our gateway actually changed the subject of the note to:

[jdjlist] Re: jsp/html editor ["IBM's antivirus process has detected a
virus in an attachment to this email. The attachment has been replaced
with a null file. No further reporting or action is required on your
part. THIS EMAIL IS NOW SAFE TO OPEN."]

Anyway, just thought I'd warn folks to be careful out there.
