I use it all the time on my win2k box. It works great! I wrote a simple http updater in java, but then I found a small utility that worked even better, so I threw out the code. Now when I log in, the utility checks to see if ther is a new IP adress, and if so, it sends the HTTP request to update to dyndns. Your JBoss server could do the same thing. This is a little more simple than the original architecture, because you don't need to FTP and redirect. whatever.homeip.net points directly to the server. Good Luck, Joe
