We do our programming in NoteTab Pro( http://www.notetab.com/ ). It is a great editor. It has a nifty little scripting language all its own. By leaps and bounds a great editor for plain text editing. And its $20 US. They also have the light ( free ) and standard ( $10 ) versions.
