Hello,
As CEO of a relatively new (and currently not hiring) internet-based company
, I can point you to the crypt/decrypt function e.g. at
http://uuhome.de/penski/sponsors.htm (realized as button within the
test-version of a Java mail-dialog).
It is still handcoded in Java 1.0 to allow a maximum number of browsers to
run it (even mobile JVMs).
Many companies might think the same until JCE (which I haven't heard of
until the recent postings within this list) is stable and widely spread.

Even the "company" MI5 that should be able to pay the biggest bucks for
cryptography experts (probably to programmers that are members of the
Commonwealth) currently doesn't use any crypting on their website - no eMail
as they say "for security reasons" - though they already use Java(Script) on
their pages and could therefor relatively easily extend to this service.

sincerely,
