I think we can also backport it to Oracle JDK6. Will find someone in the
sustaining team to work on it.

proprietary JDK6,
over which we have no control, be a blocker on bugs for OpenJDK6? For one
thing, there
are significant differences in the code bases, as far as I'm aware.
