With the planned release of JDK 7u40 scheduled for late August, I've updated the OpenJDK 7u project page with a summary of the main milestones left [1]. As ever, the timeline is the current plan and could be subject to change.

General fixes will continue to be accepted into the 7u-dev forest until the 2nd week in June. After that, and assuming PIT results are positive for that week, the jdk7u forest will be forked to create the 7u40 stabilization forest. Requests to push fixes into the 7u40 forest must follow the phase 2 request process [2].
