it works! I checked in the dependency change as part of JDO-440.
BTW, I noticed that JIRA does not list the subversion commits anymore
(see JDO-438, JDO-439, JDO-440). Do you have any idea what has been changed?

Craig, I just got a response back from the maven guys. Basically,
they use HTTP redirection to get the maven 1 jars from the maven 2
repository.
So
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/org.springframework/jars/ has no
spring-core-2.0.jar
but
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/org.springframework/jars/spring-core-2.0.jar
works, redirecting to
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/springframework/spring-core/2.0/spring-core-2.0.jar
Just a little bit of HTTP redirection magic, nothing more. Hope this
helps out.
