OK, for the Wiki, but concerning this file

that is a static file, which, from what I understand, was uploaded by
the previous maintainer... how can I update that?

I followed the instructions on

entry) but the wiki still shows the old information

Then I'd have another question: the installation of software for this
plugin is based on DownloadFromURLInstaller using this remote file

how can I update that file?

Subversion
- as noted in the Wiki.
You might want to move it to GitHub as a 1st step:
