The underlying problem is that JIRA and Confluence both need a lot of RAM, and the single machine that runs them both just doesn't have enough them. So at least a few outages yesterday were due to OOM killer killing JIRA.
I think we really need to find some time and effort to move JIRA off to another machine, so Confluence and JIRA each gets big enough box to themselves. Tyler can correct me, but I believe that's the current plan. 2014-09-26 5:15 GMT-07:00 Arnaud Héritier <[email protected]>: > I'm restarting it. > I don't know what happened > > On Fri, Sep 26, 2014 at 12:28 PM, Andrew Gray <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> Scheduled Maintenance? >> >> https://issues.jenkins-ci.org is down. >> >> >> I'd log a ticket, but... >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >> "Jenkins Developers" group. >> To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an >> email to [email protected]. >> For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. >> > > > > -- > ----- > Arnaud Héritier > http://aheritier.net > Mail/GTalk: aheritier AT gmail DOT com > Twitter/Skype : aheritier > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Jenkins Developers" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. > -- Kohsuke Kawaguchi -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Developers" group.
