If you are interested in the Role Strategy plugin, my suggestion would be to start from trying it on a Jenkins instance. I have a demo <https://github.com/oleg-nenashev/demo-jenkins-config-as-code> which allows to get the first setup running quickly. If you want to try performance/UX, it could be a good start to fork this demo and to create a more sophisticated Role Strategy setup with many roles, complex patterns and assignments.
