Hi everyone, I'm confused by the board election process as currently proposed.
According to https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Board+Election+Process * We will never have an even number of board members ("Odd number of people prevents the tie problem") * KK holds a permanent position on the board * We will elect two new board members next year According to https://jenkins.io/blog/2019/09/25/board-elections/ * We elect three board members this year (2 new + 1 replacement for Dean) * All newly elected board members will serve 2 year terms I don't see a way for all of these statements to be true. What am I missing? If one or more of these statements aren't true, which of them? AFAICT, the problem came from us replacing Dean on the board this year rather than next year. So either one of the board members elected this year will only serve a 1 year term (since Dean's seat should be up next year, same as Tyler's), or we will have alternating elections for 3 and 1 board members each year, or some other of the above statements aren't true. Thanks in advance. Daniel -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Developers" group.
