As stated before, changing the build result after a given point (i.e. before the notifiers run) and especially after the build completed, is a bad idea. This would raise all kinds of questions, which you don't really like to have to answer. E.g.: should notifiers run again? what if the 1st redeploy is successful and the 2nd redeploy fails - should the result be set to failure, again?
