Yes, it looks like this commit did indeed introduce the behavior I'm complaining about.
Run.RunnerAbortedException is a RuntimeException, that's why it's not declared.
Run.execute() does handle Run.RunnerAbortedException which is some indication that this was actually supposed to be that way.
