dvaske, did you encounter any stability issues after moving to Oracle Java? I just had Jenkins web service stop serving up pages on the web. I could see the Jenkins process still running on the Ubuntu VM. I ended up restarting the VM. When Jenkins came back up, our jnlp Windows slaves did not reconnect automatically. I had to restart those Windows servers and then all was well.
